There’s two sides that you hold.
Your true self that makes you look bold,
And your facade that makes you look like fake gold.
Wearing a mask around people just to impress something that isn’t real.
All you’re showing to them is what society thinks is ideal.
You should really take it off and let your true self be revealed.
I understand the struggle you go through to stay “fresh” with makeup,
But you should really know that you’re beautiful even after you wake up.
It’s called natural beauty and that’s what everyone has.
It comes from the inside and radiates your entire self just like Jazz.
I really hope one day you’ll become confident and happy with yourself.
All you need to do is to finally jump off the media shelf.
Embrace everything about you,
And forget all the fake and let yourself be true.
