Plague of Cowardice

The lack of bravery he holds is appalling.

Only thinking about “what if,” which is causing all the stalling.

He has been inundated by his emotions.

He feels like he has been drowning forever in an open ocean.

 

Homesickness has reached his heart.

This plague has been tearing it apart. 

Reminiscing of the good old past.

He has to keep himself from taking a knife and cutting in a deep gash. 

 

Life is catching up to him more and more.

Sooner or later he’ll have to snap out of it and go to war.

Go to war with his responsibilities,

But don’t underestimate him because he has many capabilities.

 

For now he is still a coward,

But in the future he will be empowered.
